Changes to tax search feature.

You spoke and we listened. We have re-worked the tax search area and are happy to announce that you can now search by street name or street number. Also you can now search previous years tax records back to 2003. Simply change the tax year to search box to the year you wish to search. But don’t worry by default the current tax year is selected.
2009 Tax Season is Here

The 2009 Tax Bills will be coming out in the next week. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office will be able to start accepting payments on Thursday October 1st, 2009 during regular business hours.
2008 Tax Season Closed
Friday, April 17th, 2009
The collection period for taxes for the 2008 period has ended. The sheriff’s office can no longer accept payments for property taxes for the 2008 tax year. All the tax records have been transferred to the county clerks office. If you have an unpaid tax bill, you will need to make payment arrangements with the Grant County Clerks office next to the courthouse during normal business hours.
The tax information available on this website will still be available but will not be updated regularly. All paid tax bills through April 17th, 2009 at 10:00am are displayed from this site’s tax search page.
Delinquent Tax Bills Posted

All delinquent tax bills will be sold at the courthouse by the Sheriff if not paid in full including a $10.00 Sheriff fee. The attached list is the most current list of delinquent bills.

With much anticipation the Grant County Sheriff Department is happy to announce the added ability for on-line tax record searching. You can follow the link at the bottom of the page labeled tax search or click here.
You may search public tax records by property owner name or property address.
